The 2021 Arteon is completed decked out. It comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, an 8-inch touchscreen, and two USB-C ports. New for the 2021 model year, the 12.3-inch Volkswagen Digital Cockpit gauge cluster is also standard. A premium 12-speaker Harmon/Kardon stereo and GPS-linked navigation are available on higher trims.
One look at its interior and you know that the 2021 Arteon is a luxury model. Standard equipment includes an adaptive suspension, tri-zone climate control with touch-sensitive controls, heated front seats, rain-sensing automatic wipers, and interior ambient lighting. Keyless entry and push-button start are standard too. Leather seats, a panoramic moonroof, a messaging driver’s seat, ventilated seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, remote start, hands-free parallel park assist, and a power trunk lid are all available on higher trims.
Every 2021 Volkswagen Arteon sports a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine. It produces 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2021 Arteon is available in FWD and AWD. The SE trim gets FWD. SEL R-Line models come with FWD, but it can be switched out for AWD. The SEL Premium R-Line has standard AWD. FWD models get 22-city/29-highway mpg and AWD models get 20-city/29-highway mpg.
