Compared to the 2017 Tiguan, the new 2018 Tiguan is 10.7-inchs longer which increases the interior space. This means that the 2018 VW Tiguan provides up to 57 percent more interior space than the previous outgoing model.

The 2018 VW Tiguan features a revamped 2.0-liter turbocharged, direct-injected TSI engine which now produces 184 horsepower. The engine is paired with a new eight-speed automatic transmission for better fuel economy and a sporty acceleration.
