The only 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan that has standard 4MOTION® AWD is the SEL Premium. The S, SE, SE R-Line, and SEL trims all come standard with FWD, but 4MOTION® AWD is available for an extra $1,300. Every 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan has a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine under the hood. It produces 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic. FWD models are EPA-estimated at 23/29/25 mpg and AWD models are rated at 21/27/24 mpg.
The 2021 Tiguan comes standard will multiple safety features, no matter the trim you pick.
