Volkswagen builds the CC to bring sophistication and style within the reach of more car buyers. It’s designed to turn heads but there’s absolutely no compromise to the quality and craftsmanship inside. Step into a CC and you’ll find yourself surrounded by luxury. And with the new 2.0T Trend model entering the lineup this year, cost shouldn’t be a barrier to entry. Standard equipment includes bi-xenon headlights and daytime running lights; LED taillights; 12-way power-adjustable heated leatherette seats; leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob and parking brake; 6.3-inch touchscreen; and rearview camera.
New for 2016, the MIB II infotainment system is standard on every trim level. It has a USB port and VW Car-Net App-Connect with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. New driver assistance packages are available as well. The CC adds adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking and lane departure warning.
Drivers who want a more sporty experience can opt for the R-Line 2.0T. The two R-Line trims add things like 18-inch Montauk aluminum-alloy wheels; black window moldings, mirror caps and grille accents; ambient lighting; panoramic sunroof; leather seats; and carbon decor. For the ultimate in performance, there’s the CC with 3.6-liter VR6 engine and 4MOTION all-wheel drive. It packs 280hp and comes standard with all of the options of the other trim levels.
