The 2016 Golf received a new engine that proved to be more dynamic and responsive. The new 1.8-liter turbocharged engine produces 170 horsepower which is more than the 2016 Fiat 500X's 1.4-liter turbocharged engine. The Golf sports many standard features that are either not available or standard on other comparable vehicle's base trims. The 2016 Golf receieved a new touchscreen interface which is quicker and more responsive and adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a standard rearview camera. The 2016 Fiat 500X offers a rearview camera only on higher trim levels and does not have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
